Uncovering the Complexities Surrounding Ali Aarrass

The London News Express

The recent media coverage of the case of the Belgian-Moroccan, Ali Aarrass, has brought forth a renewed wave of discussion and scrutiny. In response to the statements made by the publisher and activist, Luk Vervaet, regarding the prison issue concerning Ali Aarrass, former emir of the Moroccan mujahideen movement, Abderrazak Soumah, has stepped forward, unveiling new revelations in a video published on YouTube.

Abderrazak Soumah vehemently refutes the alleged misinformation propagated by Luk Vervaet, particularly regarding Aarrass’ supposed innocence in connection to terrorist activities. He extends an open invitation to any party or organization seeking clarity on Ali Aarrass’ involvement in the mujahideen movement, shedding light on what he perceives to be the deception surrounding Aarrass.

In the video, Soumah denounces the falsehoods put forth by Vervaet, emphasizing that both Aarrass and himself were members of the mujahideen movement of Morocco since 1981. He accuses Vervaet of whitewashing the professional weapons trafficking activities of Aarrass, stating that Vervaet was present at a café during Aarrass’ arrest in Melilla when Soumah personally refused to accept a shipment of pistols from Aarrass in Morocco in 2003.

Soumah continues to rebuke Vervaet’s claims, highlighting Aarrass’ alleged ability to read and write in Arabic, despite the latter’s supposed illiteracy during the signing of a police record in 2010. Soumah also brings attention to the existence of Aarrass’ Arabic bookshop, “Noor,” in Brussels, which was purportedly financed by the mujahideen movement.

Furthermore, Soumah emphasizes the clandestine nature of the organization, asserting that it operates under impenetrable secrecy, making it impossible to detect or locate its members. He underscores his own experiences in avoiding disclosure of his activities to Aarrass and others, emphasizing the covert nature of the organization.

Soumah also questions the jubilation surrounding Aarrass’ €3 million compensation, contending that this amount should be repaid to his former comrades who allegedly funded his business ventures in Belgium. He raises concerns about the cache of thousands of pistols allegedly acquired by Aarrass, the whereabouts of which remain undisclosed.

Additionally, Soumah challenges Aarrass’ claim of torture while in Moroccan custody, asserting that Aarrass’ portrayal as a victim of violence is a calculated ruse. He confronts Vervaet regarding Aarrass’ recorded footage of alleged suffering and torture inside his prison cell, questioning the authenticity of Aarrass’ portrayal as a victim.
